Friends of ours were getting married this past Saturday on Keuka Lake so we took some extra time to go explore the region. Going up a few days early we got to camp at Keuka Lake State Park for 2 nights. We had perfect weather...nice and sunny during the day, cooling off at night and almost no humidity! Tim had never camped before so this was a nice introduction for him.
This was one thing checked off our list....CAMPING!
You can see our wonderful accomodations below!
After setting up camp on Thursday afternoon and exploring the park we decided it was time to start making dinner and getting the fire going. A lovely dinner of hotdogs, potatoes and corn on the cob followed....

The sunset our first night out was amazing...

After dinner and darkness settled in it was time for....you guessed it....
Then came hours of just sitting around the campfire and laughing!

The rest of the trip to come....
