Big Apple Bar B-Q

I decided to do a throwback post to June when Tim and I went to the Big Apple BBQ in NYC with some friends. The BBQ was fun and the food super yummy.

It was an insanely hot day in June but we definitely cooled off with some frosty beers...

and then some great pulled pork...
we dined on the sidewalk next to the park...great location to people watch.

We pretty much just wandered around the park...drank and ate lots of food. The pictures speak for themselves...

After a lot of beer and BBQ we decided to class up our afternoon and walk across the street to TABLA for some fresh lemonade/strawberry lemonade spiked with vodka....this turned into ordered margaritas and mojitos also....

After a lot of drinks we decided it was time for more BBQ before they closed the pits down for the day...

Nora and Beth in matching outfits....we were so pleased to discover this when we met up in GC Station:
The boys made fun of us all day...and then we noticed that they also had on near matching outfits, they claimed it was the 'man uniform'...
